You may have noticed that we recently modified the toolbar layout for posting messages. The main changes were to remove unused features such as font and align, and to add in the new Code dropdown. Hopefully everyone will use this dropdown and we will see much more syntax highlighting. If there is a language that you need that is not in the dropdown, feel free to post it here.

Although we haven't seen much graphic work lately, I know we have many members who can create awesome graphics.
We'd like to give all of you the opportunity to create a new logo for TProgramming. To keep things simple, the logo will have to blend with the existing forum template.
Specifications:
- Use the green fade (seen at the top) as your background
- Height must be 100px
- Width must be between 400px and 700px
- Keep in mind the existing forum template (color, feel, etc)
- The name TProgramming must be displayed prominently, but feel free to include other text (e.g. Tibia, Programming, Forums). Stay away from words like Hacking, Cheating, Cheats, etc.
- You can put a small, nondescript signature in your logo (we will also credit you and provide a link to your site if available)
- Submissions should be in the form of a high quality PNG (preferred) or JPG. We'd also like the source file (PSD, etc) for any future modifications, but that can be provided after the competition.
- Providing a favicon (16x16) is a bonus!
The competition is open ended; we will pick a winner after we have a sufficient pool to choose from. The winning logo will be chosen by the users in a poll. Thank you for participating, and continuing on the tradition of TP being by users, for users!
Remember to use the tag "logo" instead of "img".

| Server load limit |

Some of you may receive this message:
Quote:The maximum server load limit has been reached. Please check back later once the server is less busy.
This is not a problem. Just refresh the page and it should work. Host Gator has a very strict resource policy. If we go over our quota for more than 90 seconds our scripts will be automatically disabled. So, we've activated automatic limiting on the forum. This means you may see the above message from time to time if TP is very busy. If it is happening too often, please contact one of the admins.

As you know, besides donations, the only way TP can make money is through advertisements.
We've added some ads to the forum, and we'd like your feedback. We would really appreciate it if you could make sure you turn off your ad blocker for this site, as even if you don't click on the ads we can still get paid for displaying them.
Please tell us, are they too intrusive? Could they be placed in a better spot? Any other comments?

If you haven't noticed, the forum has been converted to MyBB.
MyBB was chosen because it has a very good conversion tool from vB.
This wasn't actually going to happen for another few days, but the vB database was corrupted, and after the restore you have to run a special script, which is only usable if you have a valid license. Needless to say, our license had lapsed, and so now we have a new forum.
Please test out your permissions, and if you are missing a group (programmers especially), please post here and I will fix it.
Thanks!
Your friendly TP administration
You can insert code using [ code=lang ][ /code ]:
static void Main(string[] args)
{
new Server().Run();
}

Hey everyone!
Since the wiki was getting some major spam, we got rid of the old one and reinstalled mediawiki. We also installed the code highlighting plugin, and as a major plus we now have vBulletin integration.
You can only login to the wiki if you username is alphanumeric (no special characters, no spaces, no underscores). If you have these things in your name, please try to login and see what happens; I am not sure it will work, and we may have to modify your name to fix it.

Give it a try and tell me what you think! I'll work on restoring the old posts, although there wasn't much.

Hello there to everyone...
First of all I'd like to thank the few people that donated on the past week.. Thank you very much guys.
As most of you must have noticed, TProgramming now accepts donations.
I am having to pay the bills myself, and even though it's a considerably cheap price, I'm not in the best conditions to pay for it, keeping in mind that I gain nothing from TProgramming.
We are currently paying $24.95 USD, every month for the hosting.
So if each of us contributed with a small amount every so often, whenever possible. It would really help, and as you can see, we don't need a fortune to keep this website online..
If each one of us donated a small amount, and I really mean small.. it would help alot..
Currently we have roughly 600 active members, but we know that there are only about 50 that visit the website and actually care for it.
If we had 50 people, donating $1 USD every month, that would bring us some profit.
Our vBulletin license has expired, so I'll have to purchase it again to update the forums and add plugins, as most of the useful plugins are on the original website.
This is only a small appeal, and I'm asking you guys to help the community and work together.
I plan on keeping you guys up to date with the donation status, I'm trying to set up a system to display how much we have gotten donated on the current month.. so if anyone knows a way to do it with PayPal, let me know..
