There appears to have been a protocol change from 810 to 820, among others NPCs channel as well as Rookgaard tutorial.
While I don't know the specifics, it could be that these changes aren't backwards compatible and thus any answer would involve you knowing how to actually do programming..
If you already do, maybe checking the TibiaAPI packets structure between 810 and 820 could give you some suggestions on how to downgrade.
