Sorry for the double post, but I again updated it.
I shorted the script, I can now use ' if ( answer == 'y') {goto menu;}' that saves allot of space in the script. (39 lines to be exactly!) I also found out a bug. Edit: I fixed the bug. The programmer's national anthem is 'AAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHH!!'.

Well, I think I finally finished it, I did the best I could with it.
And can't think of anything more to personalise and perfect it. The last thing I did was I removed the, Question: Answer I made it into Question: Answer Looks way cooler, I tried fixing a cool menu but that didn't work, well my first program, and I am darn proud of it. <sniff> time to move on! [SIZE="1"](I'd appreciate any suggestion for a further program!)[/SIZE] The programmer's national anthem is 'AAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHH!!'.

Well done!
![]() Well, depending on whether you want to get into tibia programming, you might want to start looking at memory reading; for example reading the players health and mana and displaying it in the console. Or, you could try reading the players experience, reading the players level, working out the experience needed for the next level and then doing (next level exp - player exp) to find out the experience needed for their next level; you could also print this to the console. ![]() Mace~ ![]() Syros MMORPG |

Thanks, that's still a little to difficult to me, I am now working on a text-based game, I'll do that when I am more advanced ^^.

Mmm gui, in c++, with all this trouble just creating a basic calc? I'm glad your learning, and yeah gui's are fun. But, atleast look into basic datastructures before you confuse yourself with guis and graphical API's
![]() Though when you do start onto the gui's, I would go straight for the fun stuff. Direct-X if your planning on sticking with windows for life, or openGL if your a fan of multiple OS. |

Lol, I don't care to make a new thread (as these calcies are shit IMO, I know NO Perl at all, I've just read a few mins of Perl codes - no programming at all, actually), but at least my calculators are TIBIA CALCULATORS
![]() They're written in Perl, obviously. Sorry for ("attempting to") stealing Thread-attention: This one prints HP, Mana, Cap and Speed of a character based on Level and Vocation. It has no instructions and no comments, and you have to type in name of vocation, "mage", "knight" or "paladin" Code: $hp = 185;This is the second and last one, and calculates how much EXP you need to gain in comparison with what you needed before, to level! It also has a Exp Table function for OTs. Example: you need to kill 1.2x more monsters from level 55 and 60, and 16.93x from 50 to 200. This means that if you need to kill 2000 trolls at level 50, you need to kill 2000*16.93 (33860) trolls at level 200. Here's the code: Code: print("Compare exp ratios!\nFirst level: ");I made both these calculators because I think they're both usefull when I play Tibia myself to find other people's levels, and how much more you need to hunt for each level! I know I could've made it skills/ml blabla, but it weren't tempting to me, don't need it personally. Some values (mathematics/formulas) taken from TibiaWiki (wtf, thread from 08..
