Well guys, I dont know about you, but I'll always like Tibia. The fact is that I don't like the 3D games, for 3D we have rl at all. Tibia its a great game, it has a nice RPG history behind, and hunting/questing there I find it very interesting.
The problem of TP is that all programs about Tibia are already maden. We have nothing new to produce. |

I still like tibia and the main purpose is because my friends play it and it's fun to hunt while talking bullshit on the skype all night long haha. As long as tibia is making someone having fun it's not old. Even if only a few people end up playing it, it would be ok, because it is making someone having fun. Well, actually, I got an idea to what to produce new, but it's only one idea, I think most of the creativity was already put in place. ![]() |

RE: TPforums dieing slowly, let's put an end to its misery.
As everyone says, we've basically mastered Tibia. Surely there are some new things that can and will be done in the future, and even if the forum gets changed, it is still possible to do this, as it will always have a Tibia section. Adding a few games and removing unecessary sections doesn't mean the that Tibia section will die, as I'm sure there are still plenty of people interested in hacking Tibia.
However, I've seen the birth of several forums, and many of them has surpassed TP since they are appealing to many different people, not just Tibia players/programmers. I really like how some of you wants to look forward, not just stay in the comfortable past with no future. The problem with finding new games and start hacking them is that if you have to pay for them, and you aren't aware of how their anti-cheat software work, we'll all end up losing a lot of money. The games has to be free, and playing OT/WoW emulators are quite boring. The servers should be official, let us forget the word moral. |

RE: TPforums dieing slowly, let's put an end to its misery.
I love tibia or used too. I loved the hacking part and all the knowledge about programming/basic hacking that was shared here and other tibia forums. I originally came around from tech-x when it was dieing. Everyone had out grown playing tibia.
There is nothing new, and that's the problem. All these brilliant minds and skills, but nothing to do with them on tibia. If Tprogramming would branch out and focus on another game, I'm sure it would start to grow again. There's plenty of brilliant minds here; and while I know nothing compares to the gameplay and thrill of tibia, there's gotta be some game out there we could all enjoy and pour our minds into. (Back into the tibia topic) I just stop in every now and then. Upon stopping by this time I saw this pokemon online. I know it's nothing new engine wise, so no new hacks to challenge our minds, but I'm a busy guy with college and this looks like a walk down memory lane, with some vibrant little toys to play with. I'ma give it a try just to reminisce and see what I always thought was possible with a tibia type engine/client. |

RE: TPforums dieing slowly, let's put an end to its misery.
C A V E B O T, seriously guys. I saw an entire thread where people made fun of a guy asking for help.
Why would anyone want to join this forum where people are just being assholes towards newcomers? I remember myself when I did not know anything about memory editing and so on, I had no idea where to start. You think these things are SO OBVIOUS, but they are not to a beginner. And yes, it might be to early for them to start with making a bot, but the attitude I see towards these people is just ridiculous. One might argue that the members of this forum are not teachers, they never signed up to be teachers and so on. But then, why are they being rude? Being helpful towards newcomers is the only way you can make this community grow, sure, add more forums, but if the elitistic and rude attitude is still here, people won't stay. And eventually, the remaining elit will go on further with their lives and nothing will be left here (which is actually what is happening right now). |

I agree with tokn's sentiment.
But, as much as I hate to admit it, TPForums is dead. Sure, we have new people coming and asking for help, but the bad part is that the old community is gone. Most have moved on from Tibia or simply have no more need for such a community. TibiaAPI, SharpOT |

The old players have gotten bored and moved on... Or just plain grown up. The others who were here to learn from the olden's or just to be part of a thriving community, have also moved on. Leaving only those few who still enjoy the aspects of learning/hacking tibia for free. There are just a few more that are still knowledgeable, still into tibia, but that's because they run a business that exist on cheating tibia. Giving away their knowledge has the potential to hurt their business. So it's doubtful they still contribute here. |
