It's not just another bot, it's an IDE to make bots, also It's open source so you can actually make your own bot from the source and implement your own codebase / framework for making more feature rich bots, like you mention, making built in functions in your bot etc, etc. so this is very promising~! :D

Unless you're willing to provide working samples for each of a few popular bots, noone will ever use it sadly. The people who are likely to use it are the copy paste kids of the internet, and they won't get to it until they're first deprived of their Elfbot.

Regardless of that, I still think you should continue with the project, and wish you all the best in doing so!

The question here is why you're not being optimistic? If someone is developing a project like this one and on top, open source, why not be grateful? Everyone wants to have a Bot already made and that's the problem of people, they want everything done, Get your hands on lua scripting, learn the TBS syntax for writing bots and done, make up your own. Also if it's not famous it doesn't necessarily means that it won't help people.

Scripting in a bot is something way richer, and nicer than just having pre-made functions, which kinda tighten your hands together because you can't do much about it if you have the code already compiled in functions, in the other hands, if you actually have access to scripting your own code / bot, then you are in great advantage because then you can do lots.

I think what Farsa means is that, he doesn't see this getting popular because it's written in VB6. VB6 had a stable release in 1998 (16 years ago), and quit receiving support from Microsoft in 2008 (6 years ago). It's old/dated. There are many better, faster languages that could be utilized for this project. However, I do suggest avalontm keep at it to increase his programming skills.
