So I made a new Tibia.pic file, after my old thread here got a bit outdated. Someone released this new pic extractor, can't remember who or where I found it (Pretty sure it was OTFans but it may have been from here on tpforums).
If anyone wants a copy of the files to extract and compile give me a PM and I'll share. If there is request for it I can get some mod to scan it or w.e.
The .pic itself is similar size to tibia (actually smaller as I used a more simple colour pallet). The login screen is a random image as I couldn't be bothered to find one, and for the sake of authenticity I've left the Tibia logo there. The general design is based on the concept of simplicity and increased graphics performance. I increased my total FPS by an average of 16 over an hour of playing, moving items through the inventory attacking monsters, and casting spells etc. The idea I had was that having fancy graphics (with varying pixel colours) makes the graphics use more of the available resources. For someone using an external graphics card this isn't a problem, but in todays world a lot of people use onboard and complain about programs like ibot and redbot causing lag. Hopefully this will target that issue.
Let me know if you find any off-pixels, I spent a while trying to list them all but might have missed a few.
